Okay,
just a little about me,
Tim Aidlin:
I’m the Creative Director for DevExpress, a great company geared toward making user-interface tools helping software developers create amazing applications more efficiently, quickly, and beautifully.
My current business and creative focus leans toward creating multi-channel experiences crossing platforms — Windows 8 applications, Web sites and apps, mobile, and tablet/touch applications. Looking toward our interconnected and digital future, understanding how users consume information and interact with our systems is paramount to fostering brand-loyalty and providing the best experience to our customers, friends, families; all thoughtfully designed and developed for end-user goals and situational concerns.
Designing these experiences isn’t just pixels on the screen: it’s understanding the underlying technologies powering these platforms; knowing through research how users are interacting with these interfaces on their desktops, on their couches, how our *children* interact with some of these systems while on long roadtrips, bored, in the back of our cars.
With well over 10 years as a designer in the digital arena, things have changed, and will continue to do so. My goal is to remain on the leading edge through work on incredible cutting-edge projects, teaching, presenting new ideas at various conferences, and continuing to interact deeply in the design community both in Seattle and well beyond.
Hit me up. Let’s talk.
