One of the projects I’ve been working on here at Microsoft in the Developer & Platform Evangelism group is gearing up for Mix 07 a conference focusing on next-generation web technologies, held in Las Vegas.

One of my responsibilities, along with designing a few of the demos to be shown at the conference, was to work with an internal team to get the registration and information site up and running.

We launched VisitMix today.  Ch-ch-check it out.

Last year I was fortunate enough to go to Mix 06, which was the first of these conferences.  Last year, though, I was working for Avenue A | Razorfish, and went only as attendee — and was totally blown away.

I can’t believe I’m fortunate enough to be working in this group and get to see "behind-the-scenes" and get my hands in the workings of these technologies and initiatives.
