Incarnate: Find and use your avatar anywhere

You might have noticed the cool commenting system I’m using on this blog.  At MIX Online, here at Microsoft, we’ve developed a new prototype called Incarnate.  Incarnate is a system that allows readers of a blog to use their already-existing avatars from common social-networking sites such as Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and XBox Live.

Let the visitors to your blog use the avatars they already have. With Incarnate, users don’t need to upload a new avatar every time they want to drop a note.

Instead, download and install Incarnate.

Encourage your users to communicate with you.

This is a test comment left via the new Incarnate UI. We still have a little way to go, but we’re getting there and should roll out with a great new product very soon.

Giving Incarnate a try. Interesting twist to the gravatar concept. Excellent!
